Eric Strauss has been a leader in the Elementary and Middle School debate community for many years. His track record is among the best in the country. As the director of debate programs in his previous positions at Ribet Academy and Kudos College of Youth Leadership, Strauss has designed successful knowledge models and built large squads that enjoyed considerable success including producing three Middle School National Champions, and earning School of Excellence awards. He serves as the President of the West LA Debate League, and Vice President of the Southern California Junior Forensic League, one of the biggest middle school speech and debate leagues in the country.
Danise Kimball has a strong background in policy debate. She hopes to instill in her debaters an ability to ruthlessly crush opponents while simultaneously maintaining polite aura of amiability. Kimball pursued her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College and Oxford University and graduate studies at UCLA. She is an experienced educator who has taught extensively at the high school and college level.
